5 go through clearing and come out smiling- The Guardian

After receiving her A-levels results, Jessica was devastated as her grades were not what she was expecting and knew she was going to miss out on her choice of University. 

It was her second year in De Montfort University after she was granted a phone interview and got in, that she founded BeScience STEM. 

In this Interview by Liz Lightfoot of the Guardian, 5 graduates from universities across the U.K., share about their journeys. Jessica Okoro of BeScience shares  her experience and sums it up with the words, 

‘I’m over the moon that I came here’

Missing out on your universities of choice can be tough to get over. But plan B need not be a compromise”.
