Prime Ministers Point of Light Award -Making science exciting

Based on Jessica’s story of taking her STEM education into her own hands and then going on to change the misconceptions in her local community, together with her volunteers, through BeScience’s programmes such as the ‘Creative  Kids Lab, Pop-up workshops,they have proven how creative and fun Science can be.

 Jessica was awarded a Commonwealth Point of light award a day after BeScience STEM’s first STEM Social event, which saw a participation of about 500 GCSE students, A-level students in Leicester with representatives from STEM industries..
